What Is Hermit?

We connect high quality artists with corporations, individuals and groups in a easy to use platform without the expensive fees galleries charge.

What is a commission?

It is a term used to describe customized artwork that is ordered from an artist.

How do you get matched with an artist?

You will get matched with a batch of artists after answering questionnaire. Pick one that works with you and your style.

Will Hermit sell my data?

Hermit will never sell your data to any third party.

What is Hermit's fee?

Hermit takes 15% from each comision. With this you gain the security that as a artist you get paid every time you create a masterpiece. As a buyer we guarantee you are happy with the final product or we will work with the artist to make sure you are happy or your money back.

Why does my money go into escrow?

As artists ourselves we know the struggle it can be to get paid after working countless hours on a piece. This gives our artists the confidence needed to make the best work they can knowing the money is already there for them. This is also good for the buyer. If for some reason you don’t get the product you wanted there is no fighting for your money back.

Will I recieve my order on time?

We will make sure to cater to the deadline you set with the artist. Depending on the size and weight of the work made, we may need to make special shipments. If you have more questions about specific shipment cases contact us through help@hermitconnection.com.

How will my product be delivered?

All products must be shipped with insurance and tracking. The artist will be required to provide tracking information to the buyer. Any damage or loss of items will be the responsibility of the shipper.

What about the refund policy?

If you are not satisfied with your product we will do everything in our power to help you and the artist resolve any disputes. If a reasonable resolution cannot be reached our team will review your case and you may be eligible for a full or partial refund.

If a full refund is issued any and all materials will first need to be returned to the artists and the artist will retain control of any and all copyrights to their works.

What does it mean to be a curated artist?

A curated artist is someone who has been Identified and vetted by our team to be an exceptional artist.

Curation Steps:

  • Art submits a portfolio of their work and what they do.
  • A team of five juries will review the profolio in a 20 point system
  • Each jury will say yes or no, you need majority to get in. 3/5
  • If accepted you will be notified.
  • You may reapply to the platform 6 months from now, If you were not accepted into the platform.
  • Our Standards are very high and we only accept the top artists.

How do I communicate with a seller or artist?

You will have the opportunity to talk to the artist before you both agree the project should be completed by the artist. There is a in site chat system that must be used in order to ensure quality. Any communication or done outside of the website is no longer insured via hermit. Due to our offsite interaction policy. We must see a paper trail in order to help with any issues that pertain to the job, artist or communication.

How will I know the artist or buyer is trustworthy?

We have a rating system for each side. You can rank from how easy it was working with them, delivery, skill and communication.

What kind of art can I order?

Right now we have curated artists for painting, drawing, fashion, digital media, photography, and sculptures. You can order any of these categories.

I know an artist who would be good for this. How can I suggest them?

Give them our link to apply to be an artist for Hermit. We curate through a five judge system and once you get in. You will be an official hermiter.
